The striving of the theatre for synthetic action is brightly reflected here. There is a show on the stage consisting of music, poetry, light and colors. It's an interpretation of a French poet's life and destiny showed by the talented actors.Medieval France. The central character of the story. Francois Villon, takes the high road and pays the ultimate price by losing his life.

But in life the result is overshadowed by the effort, and at the end Villon has no regrets.   He has been true to his art and thus to himself.
