A musical improvisation based

on R. Lotar's play "King - Harlequin"

The style of the Harlequin Theatre is reflected most evidently in this play. In fact it is genuine Comedia del arte full of actors' improvisation, and "live music". The director never believed in recorded music in his work.... An era of kings and jesters. Corruption and political intrigue are rampant at the court. Accidentally, the Jester is to become a king. But soon he realizes that the king is serving as a screen for corruption. He rejects his role and departing happily with his friends. Shouts: "0ne is a king only when he himself feels like a king, regardless of who he really is, even a Jester"
